Dias de Muertos Run is organized by local professionals with approval of city and county government and local business. Together we celebrate Pasco community, culture, family and achieving students. The run includes a myriad of interests from promoting academic achievement from middle schools, high schools, and awareness for post-secondary education.

This attracts health care professionals, fitness gyms, cross fit communities, and endurance sport athletes (triathlon and running clubs). The Run is celebration of family living and those who have past. A few days are spent remembering the loved ones with some of their favorite items, food, music, and time to share stories. It is a warm event recognizing the infinity of love for family members and a continuum of love passed to a new generation.

Dias de los Muertos Run is open to the entire community regardless of age. Of course, it's important for participants to be of able body.

Strollers will only be permitted on 5k and kids run.

Headphones will not be permitted. We discourage participants from using any gear that will hinder their awareness of their surroundings.

We will refund up 50% until October 3rd. After this date no refunds are available.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a Mexican tradition dating back more than 3,000 years to the time of the Aztecs. Taking place each year from October 31st through November 2nd, the annual celebration provides an opportunity to pray for and remember friends and family members who have passed. It is believed that loved ones are reunited with families on this special day. The tradition includes vibrant flower-filled altars, offerings that our loved ones might miss in the afterlife, including favorite foods and beverages. A day of family reunion and celebration, Dia de los Muertos becomes an acknowledgement of that which is an inevitable part of life.

La Hermandad de Oquichtli Macuilli Tonatiuh, or O eMe Te, was founded at Washington State University in 1996 to instill the core values of culture, wisdom, empowerment and carnalismo (brotherhood) amongst its membership and instill a life-long commitment of service to our communities.

O eMe Te has since expanded to Eastern Washington University and is continuing to expand. We aspire to prepare our members to become leaders in the community. The organization’s alumni are located across the globe in professional roles at leading corporations, non-profits and community organizations.
